(I'm uploading pics from my backlog on the days where I didn't have time to make posts. This one is from december 16.)

Grey days are for photographing textures.

tangled looking bare twigs and branches of a small woodland area, behind them is the forest ground covered in brown fallen leaves

tan, slightly fuzzy looking patches of fungal growths on a dark wet wooden log

patterns and tunnels created by bugs on an old piece of wood that is without bark

various different coloured and textured lichen covering the barkless surfaces of a tree that has died

This fungus, I think, is either black witches' or warlock's butter, which are both Exidia species.
