It was a sunny, mild spring day. I had a nice walkie in the gardens and fields and I saw more far away deer than I've ever seen before.

There was a cold wind today. We didn't get further snow, but a good amount of what had come down late last evening still stuck around.

It snowed some more over night, then in the afternoon it started raining.

my garden in the snow. there's some trees and shrubs and a slide and a big garden shed. the sky is grey.

snowy fields and some bare trees next to them, and distant powerlines under grey skies.

These are tracks from a hare's back feet.

a view of a wild area by the stream. there's a row of tall skinny trees, a fallen tree, and a lot of bushy looking very long grass. the ground is covered in snow.

trees and pasture by the stream, a snowy landscape.

close up of some old logs that have lichen and polypore fungus growing on them and there's snow on them too.

It snowed a little bit. I started putting out bird food on the windowsill again finally.

view of the village with a light dusting of snow on everything. the sky is blue with a lot of fluffy white clouds

These are kitty cat pawprints from a feral cat.

a thin layer of snow on the ground with some fresh cat paw prints

sky over the field in the early evening. it is partially covered in dark clouds and partially clear. the waxing crescent moon is visible and directly above it the planet Venus

It was a grey, gloomy, soggy day. Well, as always, I gotta go on a walk.

little fuzzy tan mushrooms growing out of a moss covered log. they look like little clam shells.

decomposing bark of an old plum tree, with a lot of the outer layer missing and evidence of bug activity

vibrant green moss growing on an old tree trunk

bark on the trunk of a large oak tree. there is moss and lichen growing on it, creating reddish and green tones.

I went out into the fields. It is now the season to find animal tracks in the mud. These are badger tracks. I also saw deer tracks and the actual far away deer to match them.

3 footprints of a badger in the mud, they have 5 toes and large claws

a very old very large willow tree by the edge of the field. it has several large trunks and looks very wild.

a green field on a gloomy day. it is overgrown with plants low on the ground, probably a type of Phacelia. there are powerlines in the distance. the sky is just grey.

the little stream, seen from above. there is a lot of foliage around it, some of it is colourful, green, red and yellow

some little light brown stemless mushrooms growing on a decaying branch.

the soggy wet bark of a large tree. there is a lot of small star-shaped moss growing on it and some little patches of bright yellow-green lichen.

remnants of dried tan seedheads of some plant, the shape is similar to fireworks

There has been much to see today.
