It was a beautiful day. There was a lot of cow activity. The herd of mom cows with their baby boys moved to a pasture not far from my garden. And my friends the big cow boys moved to the plum orchard (also not far from my garden, but in the other direction). There are 2 cow boy videos in this post also.
Hi! It's a halcyon post. I've been having trouble keeping this blog up to date since I lack energy. I'm gonna have to not do alt text at the moment, unfortunately, to be able to post here at all. There's also always my discord server, where I upload new pics almost daily.
Anyway, here's today's photos and a cow video. It was a cloudy, chilly day.
It was a nice sunny day. More things are flowering every day. I'm foraging wild greens for the bunnies whenever I can, there's a lot growing right now but I gotta pace myself due to my energy levels.
It was another mild, dry day. I saw even more frogs in my pond than yesterday, and a newt, too. My radishes are starting to sprout in veggie bed 1. I already have to water the garden quite a bit because there hasn't been any rain lately.
It was a beautiful mild spring day. I'm having issues with my energy level and focus, that make it hard to keep up with daily posting, but I do try. There were a lot of frogs today in my little garden pond. I only ever remember seeing two at a time last spring, today there were at least six of them. I hope they're doing ok because the water quality in that thing is probably not great.
It was a nice, not too warm spring day. We now have the first cherry and plum-cherry blossoms. I also visited my friends, the boys who are cows, and took photos and videos (video links at end of post).
There was a partial solar eclipse today which I saw absolutely nothing of, because the sky was covered in a dense white layer of clouds. The sun finally showed itself in the evening though.
Here's a pic of the post sunset sky where it looks like maybe there's some Sahara desert dust in the air in the distance. Also some pics of my bunny Juniper on the day after. Couldn't get a good pic of Haru at this moment.
These photos are from March 10 and 11. I've been getting a bit tired of winter vibes photos, so I haven't been taking as much. I hope spring will motivate me more.
You're invited to come on near-daily walks with me.
I post photos of various subjects in my garden and the surrounding nature: plants, mushrooms, landscapes, and animals - including bugs, spiders/arachnids, rodents and others.
