It was a wet day. In the evening after my walk, it snowed again.

It snowed some more over night, then in the afternoon it started raining.

It was a frosty, clear day. I went on my walk past sunset.

The cow boys were all there, on the close side of the stream.

A pro tip for photographing cows: if you want them to lift their head and look at you for a photo, try singing or humming to them. Here's Bambi, listening to me humming "Die Gedanken sind frei". Cows love a classic antifascist tune.

The bright spot in the sky is the planet Venus.

I stayed out for way after dark, looking at the stars and planets, trying to memorize constellations.

It was a cloudy day with a bit of rain.

This fungus, I think, is either black witches' or warlock's butter, which are both Exidia species.

It was a chilly, quite windy December day.

It was a grey, gloomy, soggy day. Well, as always, I gotta go on a walk.

I went out into the fields. It is now the season to find animal tracks in the mud. These are badger tracks. I also saw deer tracks and the actual far away deer to match them.

a very old very large willow tree by the edge of the field. it has several large trunks and looks very wild.

There has been much to see today.

I had a very short walk since I was tired.

It was a wet, chilly, cloudy day. I went for a walk through the apple and plum orchards. There are always so many details to be seen there.

I've been hanging out with some new friends today, they're a small group of two mom cows with their two baby girls. They are currently on the street side apple orchard pasture, which is the one I can see from my window. They seemed shy and a bit skittish at first, but I waited a while and they started to come up to me and look at me, and then they seemed more relaxed.

From the way they were interacting, I believe the black mom cow and the brown baby girl belong together, and vice versa.

I'm not sure what this little fungus is.

The cow boys are currently on the apple and plum orchard meadows out back, I didn't get a good picture of them, but all eight of them were there.
