It was a cloudy summer day. I went on a walk to visit the cow boys and to collect greens for the bunnies. There's a short video at the end of the post.

I worked in the garden today. I cleared out the greenhouse, which still had last year's tomato plant remains in it, as much as I could. Then I planted 6 new cherry tomato plants that I bought yesterday. I've found tomatoes to be fun to grow last year, so I hope that I can keep these ones alive well enough.

It was a beautiful day. There was a lot of cow activity. The herd of mom cows with their baby boys moved to a pasture not far from my garden. And my friends the big cow boys moved to the plum orchard (also not far from my garden, but in the other direction). There are 2 cow boy videos in this post also.

Hi! It's a halcyon post. I've been having trouble keeping this blog up to date since I lack energy. I'm gonna have to not do alt text at the moment, unfortunately, to be able to post here at all. There's also always my discord server, where I upload new pics almost daily.

Anyway, here's today's photos and a cow video. It was a cloudy, chilly day.

The dry, cool weather continues. I'm enjoying the spring vibes, but I need a lot of rest regardless. I visited the cows again on my walk, and got another video of them (see end of post).

The cow boys were all there. They were quiet and moved very slowly.

It was a frosty, clear day. I went on my walk past sunset.

The cow boys were all there, on the close side of the stream.

A pro tip for photographing cows: if you want them to lift their head and look at you for a photo, try singing or humming to them. Here's Bambi, listening to me humming "Die Gedanken sind frei". Cows love a classic antifascist tune.

The bright spot in the sky is the planet Venus.

I stayed out for way after dark, looking at the stars and planets, trying to memorize constellations.

It was getting dark so early that I barely made it outside in time before the light was gone. It was quite windy, but not too cold.

All 8 cow boys were there and grazing peacefully.

It was a mild day with some sun and some clouds. Sunsets have reached their earliest for the season, and will start getting later in the day again from now on. Since the solstice hasn't happened yet, daylight hours are still getting shorter, but only in the mornings, which honestly does not matter to me, lol.

I was pleased to find the cow boys on the close side of the stream pasture. They were looking super cute and fuzzy in their winter coats. I hadn't seen them close up in a while. Here's Mew, who is one of the fluffiest:

All 8 of them were there and enjoying the grass that had previously been fenced off to them. I watched them until it got too dark.
