Springtime Garden and Orchard

It was a sunny but not very warm day. I had a walk in the evening and also did some gardening.

The first periwinkle flowers have appeared:

The plum orchard is in full bloom now and it smells very nice.

I finished clearing and raking the first veggie bed. I also put a bit of compost on it. Then I put radish seeds in it and also some beetroot seeds I had leftover from last year, I'm not sure if those are still viable though because I didn't store them very well. My next task is clearing veggie bed #2, which is currently overgrown with wild plants.

Garden work is slow, but that's ok. This spring has been very dry so far, which is probably not ok.
