It was a beautiful autumn day. The fae portal was wide open.

a dark wooden wall with a door in it. the wall is overgrown with plants and vines, some green, some yellow and red. the door is wide open. there are more green plants on the other side.

a grassy path next to some tall old trees and bushes. the evening sun is casting a warm light onto the scene. some of the leaves have started to turn to autumn colours.

the entrance gateway to my garden. the large cherry tree branches overhead are being lit by the evening sun. the sky is mostly blue. there is dense greenery on both sides of the path.

some twigs on a bush, the leaves on them have partially turned red. sunlight is hitting them, creating a high contrast colourful image.

the very bright low standing evening sun over the fallow field. the sky is mostly blue, with some thin clouds over the horizon and distant powerlines.

I was experimenting a bit with the HDR mode on my phone camera. The following 3 pics are using the effect. I like it for showing off these colourful scenes.

There were, of course, many mushrooms.

some young inkcap type mushrooms just bursting out of the soil. the caps are closed, roughly egg shaped and tan coloured. there are clumps of earth on them and they are surrounded by grass and moss.

a group of tall young alder trees next to a meadow. behind the trees, somewhat far away, are a bunch of boys who are cows. some are standing and looking, some are grazing.

a cluster of light brown umbrella shaped mushrooms growing at the moss covered based of a tree. the moss looks wet, and the mushrooms are closely stacked together.
