Rain times

It was wet and chilly throughout the whole day. I put on my rain jacket and rubber boots and went for a walk.

a single wet ash tree at the edge between the fields and the stream. the leaves are feathered and green. the trunk has a prominent wound that looks a bit like a round eye. it is surrounded by grasses that have turned light brown.

In the fields, I saw the starlings flock in the distance again. I also saw a kestrel, three deer, and many slugs.

really enjoy the atmospheric mist in the last shot. a lot of this reminds me of visiting gilroy in the autumn.
