It was a mild early spring day. There was an earthy scent in the air reminiscent of petrichor, although it hasn't rained in while now. There were many far away deer in the fields.

something so surreal about how vivid the skyline is in the second one where it intersects with the trees... from afar it makes the trees feel pasted on a 'multiply' layer in photoshop!

yeah sometimes HDR mode makes things look surreal like that. there'd be a lot less detail in the ground without HDR mode in that shot though, it would just be dark.
