We finally got rain today. And then the rain turned into snow slush. And then I kind of missed my chance to go on a walk while there was still light out. So I went outside in the dark. There was still some rain then, and I didn't feel like lingering, but I did hear the pair of long-eared owls whom I have been noticing lately, sing in the trees.

I'm glad people actually like these! I was unsure about whether they'd be worth posting, but I guess posting is always good. I do like the grain. I'm glad I made the switch from my previous regular camera phone app to Open Camera, that lets me take grainy pics without automatically processing them for smoothness. For some motifs it makes a huge difference.
