It was a beautiful, mild autumn day. I went for my walk at sunset.

The fae portal was closed today. I did not dare open it.

I went out towards the fields.

The sunset was incredible. I watched it together with some far away deer, and later a small bat who was hunting over the fields.

The air was fragrant with a pleasant scent that reminded me of a fruity, earthy tea blend. Towards the village it had a bit of wood smoke in it. I stayed out long after sunset to take it in. Also the boys have been moved again and are now right next to my garden, but it was already too dark for pictures when I got there.
